TEA, Is prepared to supply BEST BUILDING BRICKS in any quantity at reasonable rates I Delivered f.0.b., rail or ship. Patea quotation*; on application to office, ; Regent Street, Hawera. , Obtain an estimate for building in : brick. The low coet will surprise you, whilst this class of construction has never been equalled in any other mateR. M. LOCKHART, PROPRIETOR. Good Blood is needed to Make Milk The cow with the good mam--1 niary system is the cow that is ( likely to be a great producer, but . she will not be a great producer unless her blood-vessels are filled with good, rich blood. When a cow calves her whole system changes. The blood which has been used for building up the calf is diverted to the task of making milk. The change is a severe strain, and it is only made satisfactory when the system is cleansed and fortified by the use of a good Drench. The best of all Drenches is Sykes’s Drench. It ensures a proper cleansing, preventing catarrhal discharge, and toning and strengthening the whole system. It is no exaggeration to say that the giving of a Sykes’s Drench after calving will often mean the difference between PROFIT and LOSS on the cow’s lactation period. A healthy, red-blooded cow that is feeling fit has a chance to make a profit, but the unthrifty cow never makes good. Sykes’s Drench has been the favourite Drench of New Zealand and Australian dairy cattle breeders for over twenty years. * Mecsrs Holloway & Gray,, “Reculvers," Kennon, Goulburn, N.S.W. write:—

“We are pleased to say that we have found Sykes’s Drench and Veterinary Remedies most effective for what it is claimed for them. We have used them successfully for many years and have always a supply on hand, in fact, the Dairy is not complete without Sykes’s Veterinary Remedies.

Sykes’s Drench may be obtained from all chemists and progressive storekeepers. 1/6 packet (sufficient to drench two cows) or 17/- by die dozen. * • 1
