AMERICAN FORCE REDUCED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Oct. 23. The Washington correspondent of the New York Times says that it is announced the United States will reduce her forces in Germany to 5000, bringing home 8000 by March next. The American authorities have notified the Allies of the approaching reduction of 50 per cent, in the forpes in the occupation area. The cost of the French, Belgian, British and American occupational forces now totals 375 million gold marks. Efforts are being made to reduce the cost to Germtwiy to 240 millions.
