Minister for War. was assassinated while motoring, together with his •hauffeur and two passengers. The assailants are unknown. The outrage is relieved to be political. TURCO-GREEK WAR. Received Oct. 23, 55 pjn. Constantinople, Oct. 22. It is reported from Angora that a FrancoKemalist agreement has been - signed, France agreeing to a modification of the frontier, which henceforth follows the Bagdad railway as far as Nisibin. The French have secured a concession to work the railway. A Nationalist communique states tha» the Greeks are burning villages in the Eskisbihr and Afiumkarahissar sectors, which is regarded as a prelude to the evacuation of both towns. —Reuter Service. BOMB INCIDENT IN PARIS. Received Oct. 23, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Oct. 22. In a conflict between the police and Communists outside a Communist meeting a bomb waa thrown and twdve police and three others were injured. Six were arrested.
