THE LEAGUE GAME. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. London, Oct. 19. The Australasian League footballers defeated Leeds by 11 points to 5. Play in the Leeds match was rough and ragged throughout, marked by many penalties. It was fairly even in the first half, which ended: Australia 8, Leeds 5. The visitors were predominant in the second spell. The final score was: Australian a goal and three tries, Deeds a goal and a try.
