The Hawke’s Bay spring show opened to-day in good weather, when the judging of the various exhibits was practically completed. The attendance was good. To-morrow is people’s day, when a large attendance from all over the province is anticipated. Championships were awarded as follows • Hereford*.—Cow. G. F. Moore (Kai Iwi); bull. W. B. White.
