FINAL SALE AT AUCKLAND COMPETITION VERY KEEN. GOOD PRICES OBTAINED. By Telecrapli. Pres* Association Auckland, Last Night. The final wool sale of the season to day was largely attended, including Bradford, Continental and Americai buyers. Competition was exceptional!] keen, Bradford buyers, particularly, op erating freely, their .orders and limit) apparently being ahead qf those fron the Continent. A catalogue of 5095 bales was offered 90 per cent, being sold. Top price were realised for halfbred, 10%d. Th bulk of the wool was a crossbred clip of average condition, including some very superior, for which bidding was exceedingly keen. Prices were on a pfti with the Wellington sale last Friday, excepting super crossbred, which advanced a farthing to a halfpenny compared with the last Auckland sale io June. Super crossbred advanced lAd to 2d, medium Id to 14d, coarse id to Id. Lam'bs’ wool was in good demand, but prices wete heardly equal to the June rates. A comparison of to-day’s rates with June in parentheses is: Half-bred, IOJd (nil); first three-quarterbred, 4d; second three-quarterbred, nil (3d); fine crossbred, 3%d to By»d (2|d to 6fd); medium, 5%d to 7id (2|d to sd); coarse, 3-Jd to (23d to 3%d); lambs, medium to fine, 'did to 9d, and lainbs seedy and inferior, Id to 4sd were brack eted in June, when they realised 3d to lOJd; bellies, pieqes, Id to 3d (Id tc 3£d); crutchings, Id to 3d (11-3 d
