GERMAN TRADE BOYCOTT.
FRANCE ENTERS PROTEST. London, Sept. 28. A message from Berlin says that newspapers print the text of a French Note requesting Germany to stop the movement to boycott French goods, which, the Note declares, began in February at Bremen and extended to Hamburg, where it received support from the Hansa League and the chambers of commerce. Thence it was organised throughout Germany, and propagated in technical publications and political organs. It instances the Bavarian railway authorities threatening to close down restaurants selling Entente goods.
