THE WOOL MARKEt By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt Received Oct. 16, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 15. At a meeting at Bradford, representative of every department of the wool trade, it was decided to ask the B.A.W.R.A. to offet more merino at auctions. Combing wools particularly were needed, and the offerings at the present sales were totally inadequate to meei the demand. WELLINGTON WOOL SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following telegram from their Wellington office ir. connection with the wool sale held in Wellirgton on Friday, October 14 :—Total bales wool offered 7100, sold 6900. The wool sale passed off well at an increase of %d to above August 19. Medium half-bred 7%d to fine medium crossbred 3%d to F.%d, coarse 3%d to 5%d, hoggets 4d to 7d, 6d to B’Ad. LONDON MARKETS.
