DECREASING FLOORS. LOSS IN THREE YEARS. The number of sheep in the Dominion on April 30, 1021, was 23,285,031, a decrease of 034,939, as compared with the previous year. The numbers in the districts were: Auckland 1,901,947 Napier-Gisborne 5,705,715 Wellington-West Coast . 5,106,661 Marlborough-Nelson-West-land 1,438,055 Canterbury-Kaikoura .. . 4,796,060 Otago 4 1 ,276,593 The Hon. W. Nosworthy said in the House recently that the decrease for the past three years was over 3,000,000. This was partly owing to bad winter weather and bad lambing seasons. He expected a more satisfactory result this year.
