iARCE NUMBER OF SERVICEMEN. GOING TO THE DOMINIONS. By Telegraph.—Press A»sn.—Copyrigtt. Received Oct. 14, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. IX Applications totalling 108,364 have been received by the overseas settlement committee from ex-service men for free passages to the Dominions. The total represents over 200,000 individuals. Although applications dose on December 31 it is anticipated more will be dispatched next year than this year. Applications of ex-service men approved jince April total 12,409, including: .Canada 5035; Australia 4022; New Zealand 1081; South Africa 992. The Chilli 1 Emigration Society is dispatching a so nt in gent of boys and girls to West Australia in February.—Aus.-N-Z. Cable Assn.
