FARMER MURDERS WIFE. THEN COMMITS SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Oct. 12. The Wanganui police have been advised of a sad tragedy at Nukumaru last evening. A farmer muned Luke M'Gorman murdered his wife by cutting her throat with a razor and then cut his own throat. It is reported that Mtlorman and his wife quarrelled about eight o’clock at their home. The wife rushed out and ran along the road, but was overtaken by her husband, who cut her throat and then dragged her body to the side of the road. M'Gorman then proceeded to an adjoining paddock and cut his own throat. Mrs. Moorman's dead body was found this morning, also M‘Gorman. The latter was still alive, but died almost immediately. M'Gorman was about 51 and his wife *36. There is a family of four girls and two boys. NO EVIDENCE OF QUAftREK VICTIMS ON FRIENDLY TERMS. Wanganui, Last Night.
