The Minister of Industries and Commerce announced to-day that Cabinet has decided to appoint the Acting-Chief Justice (Judge Sim) as a commissioner to inquire into charges made by Mr. R. Masters (member for Stratford) in the House of Representatives recently in regard to the operations of an alleged cement trust. The order of reference is not yet available, nor has the date of the sitting of the oommission been definitely fixed.
