THE PEOPLE’S. CONWAY TEARLE IN “MAROONED HEARTS.” “Marooned Hearts,” featuring Conway Tearle, is the big new feature on to-day’s programme commencing at the matinee at 2 p.m. It is a terrific story of high society and adventures in Japan and the South Seas and is easily one of Selznick’s best productions. The bill includes Gazette, comedy and “The Moonriders,” EVERYBODY’S. ALICE BRADY IN “REDHEAD.” “Redhead,” the Alice Brady feature concluding to-night at Everybody’s, is the story of a wealthy young mau-about-town, who marries a cabaret girl on a bet while under the influence of liquor. Later, they both regret it, but she decides that as long as she has taken him “for better or for worse” she may as well make a man of him. She succeeds, but the path proves steep and rocky and she is forced to suffer much humiliation and many heart-aches. The picture is a human one—the story of a human man and a human woman with their good and their bad sides. “Redhead” is the kind of a picture that will leave a pleasant taste in your mouth.
