ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF “A MODERN SALOME” “A Modern Salome”, featuring Hope Hampton, the woman beautiful, screens finally to-night at the People’s. It is a sumptuous photodrama of modern life in smart society, bewildering in its color and powerful in its lesson. The bill includes gazettes, comedy and “The Diamond Queen”. To-morrow’s change presents Conway Tearle in the big Selznick feature, “Marooned Hearts”, a startling story of high society and the South Seas. “The Moonriders,” gazette and comedy are also on the bill. The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m. EVERYBODY’S. ALICE BRADY IN “REDHEAD”. “Redhead”,’ Alice Brady’s latest picture, which commences at Everybody’s to-night, is one of the jazziest, peppiest stories ever put on the screen. There is quick, live action from the minute the picture first appears upon the screen until the last fade-out, and Alice Brady is right there with her customary pep and .sparkling personality. She is ably supported by Conrad Nagel. The picture is a splendid one, well acted, splendidly directed and excellently photographed. It is a human picture of human people who have their faults and their good points. The bill includes gazettes, kinogram and comedy. The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m.
