FUTURE OF BURGENLAND. TRANSFER TO AUSTRIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Budapest, Oct. 5. Hungary has signed the protoeal agreeing to transfer Burgenland to Austria, thus the way is cleared for an Austro-Hungarian agreement in conformity with the decision of the Ambassadors’ Conference. Paul Keri has been condemned to death for having instigated the murder of the ex-Premier, Count Tisza, during the revolution of 1918; and Marcel Gaertur has been sentenced to fourteen years’ imprisonment for complicity.
