RUSSIAN FAMINE.
BRITISH GOVERNMENT HELP. By Telegraph.—Press Assn London, Oct. 4. The British Government has decided to contribute to Russian famine relief certain war surpluses held by the Disposals Board, consisting of medical stores, clothing and other properties valued at about £250,000. These will be handed to the British Red Cross for distribution.—Reuter.
