SPECIAL RATING AREA JN Pursuance and exercise of the powers end authorities vested in it in that i behalf by Section 16 of the Local Bodies’ ■ Loans Act, 1913, and all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling and with the written consent of the Ratepayers of the Mena Road No. 2 Special Rating Area hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less ( than three-fourths of the ratepayers of ‘the aforesaid Mana Road No. 2 Special Rating Area, the capital value of whose | properties as appearing on the Valua- • tion Roll of the District is collectively • greater than the capital value of those ; properties of those ratepayers who did 1 not so consent,, the Inglewood County • Council hereby resolves by way of Spe- : cial Order as follows:

“That for' the purpose of forming, regrading and metalling (first time) the Mana Road within the Mana Road No. 2 Special Rating Area, the Inglewood County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £lOOO, sueth. loan to be for a period of thirty-six years and a half at the rate of £5 12s 2d per centum per annum; to strike as a security for such loan a Special Rate of one penny and seven-tenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mana Road No. 2 Special Rating Area, comprising: Sections 1 to 7, Block VIL, Huiroa, Taitama Settlement (soldiers’), containing 194 acres 1 rood, 250 acres 3 roods, 177 acres, 292 acres 2 roods. 303 acres, 109 acres 1 rood 10 perches, 110 acres 2 roods 30 perches; Sections 7 and 8. Block VII., Huiroa. 240 acres 2 roods 8 perches; Section 2, Block XL, Huiroa. 120 acres; Part Section 55. Block VI., Huiroa, 108 acres 2 roods 24 perches, which is hereby constituted the Mana Road No. 2 Special Rating Area, and to pay out of such loan the cost of raising, and the first ■ year’s principal and interest on the loan.
