Whangape, from Newcastle,. October 8. Essex, to load, about October 16. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived early yesterday morning from Onehunga. Besides a large number of passengers the vessel carried 88 tons of general cargo, including 10 tons of sugar. The vessel sailed on the return trip at 8.30 p.m. PORT LYTTELTON TO-DAY.
The Port Lyttelton left Nelson yesterday morning. The vessel is proceeding under easy steam, and will be here to berth at daylight to-day. The Port Lyttelton is to load produce, the loading of which is expected to occupy about four days. The cargo comprises 30,000 freight carcases (15,000 from Patea and 15,000 from Tiranaki Farmers’ Company), 10,000 boxes of nutter, 4090 crates of cheese, 168 casks of tallow, 50 bales of wool, and 125 cases of tinned’ meats. JJTe Port Lyttelton continues Homeward loading ar Wanganui after leaving here, and thence goes to Wellington. RAMA WITH CARGO. The Rama (Collett and Co.) is to load general cargo at Wellington for New Plymouth to day. She is expected here on Friday. The vessel will sail again on Saturday for Wellington. KARAMU FROM SOUTH. The Karamu left Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth, via Oarnaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Karamu will pick up any expected here about Saturday. THE KOHI'S MOVEMENTS. The auxiliary scow Kohi left Wellington for New Plymouth via Patea on Friday. After discharge at Patea the vessel will proceed to New Plymouth, but the time of her arrival is uncertain. The Kohi hits 1506 cases o.’ benzine for discharge here. KAHIKA FROM LYTTELTON. The Kahika left Lyttelton at midnight on Monday for New Plymouth with general cargo to discharge. She should arrive this morning. CORINNA DELAYED. The Corinna is not now expected to arrive from South Island pbrts and Wellington until Friday. The vessel las about 700 tons of cargo to put out here. HINEMOA WITH STORES. The Government, steamer Hinemoa is expected to anchor off the breakwater to-day to land stpres and a lighthouse-keeper for the Cape Egmont lighthouse. THE R.M.S. TAHITI. ' The Union Company’s R.M.S. Tahiti arrived at Wellington at 6.25 a.m. yesterday from Sydney direct. The Tahiti experienced a fine weather passage across the Tasman Sea. She was to leave Wellington at 5 p.m. yesterday for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The agents have received cable advice that the Canadian Conqueror, en route from Montreal, left Adelaide on Thursday evening for W&Tllngton direct, where she is due on Friday morning. After discharging and loading for New York and Montreal, the vessel will proceed from Wellington next Tuesday to Auckland, en route to her destination. THE PORT HACKING. The C. and D. Line have received cable aavice that the Port Hacking, en route from New York, left Panama on the Ist Inst, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. , The vessel is due at Auckland on the 26th ; Inst, .and at Wellington on the 31st inst. CARGO FROM ADELAIDE. The Union Company advise tftat the Kaituna is to load this week at Adelaide for Wellington and Auckland. WANAKA FROM SYDNEY. The Wanaka is to leave Sydney on Thursday with general cargo for Wellington, Ly.tte’ton, Dunedin and Bluff. MOLDAVIA LAUNCHED. A cable from London states that Cammell, Laird and Company launched the P. and 0. liner Moldavia at Birkenhead. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED London, October 3.—At London.
