N.Z. LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. Taranaki players will take part in the New Zealand ladies’ championship meeting, which opens on the Heretaunga links. Wellington, to-morrow. There is a record entry of 65 competitors from all parts of the Dominion. There is only one match in the first round and in ’‘he second round Miss Brewster (New Plymouth) plays Mrs. G. Williams, Mrs. R. McLean (Hawera) plays Miss Cottrill and Miss Gavin (New Plymouth) plays Mrs. Bidwill.
