REBUKE FROM THE BENCH. By Telegraph.—Tress Assn —Copyright. Received Oct. 2, 11.5 p.m. London, Oct. 1. Mr. E, G. Hemmprde, K.C., Recorder of Liverpool, presiding at the Liverpool Police Court, where the leaders of the unemployed disturbance were prosecuted, declared that the police used unnecessary violence. One defendant’s head was badly broken in three places and another had his arm broken and his head smashed.
