TOKO RESERVES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, — Your compositor made two mistakes in my letter re the above. I wrote that “at a meeting at Stratford we were supplied with a comparative statement of the valuations of the various farms. Mr. Sangster’s valuation was: Government valuation, £2235; Mr. Russell’s valuation, £2810.” Your compositor set it: “Government valuation £2Blo.’' This altered the position materially. In the last paragraph the word “reduction” was set instead of “valuation”. The sentence, therefore, should have read: “On this basis (a 33 1-3 reduction in Mr. Sangster’s valuation) and on the total valuation of the reserves of £lB,OOO, we other tenants have been penalised to the extent of £6OOO.” —I am, etc., ? .
