Mr. P. Ansell, postmaster at Helensville, is leaving the local office at the end of this month, and has been granted six months’ leave on full pay, prior to his retirement on superannuation, after over 40 years’ service. Mr. Ansell took charge of the Helensville office on July 17, 1911. The Rev. R. Hermon, Anglican minister at Mangatainoka for the pest eight years, is retiring from the ministry next month.
