MURDER CHARGE LIKELY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Received Sept. 28, 10.35 p.m. San Francisco, Sept. 28. Judge Lazarus, in the Police Court, intimated that he would probably commit Arbuckle to a superior Court on a charge of murder. Ths prosecution introduced a new witness, B chambermaid in the hotel, who heard Miss Rappe protesting against an attack. This testimony caught the defence by surprise. Arbuckle’s lawyers protested against the prosecution’s failure to introduce the chief witness, Mrs. Delmont, who swore the complaint against the comedian.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
