Waiotapu, to load on Pacific coast in October. Whangape, from Newcastle, October 8. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 8.30 o'clock to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at 8.30 p.m. CORINNA FROM SOUTH. The Corinna was expected to leave Dunedin yesterday for New Plymouth via the usual ports. She should arrive here on Tuesday. KAHJKA WITH CARGO. The Kahlka is scheduled to load at Wellington on Saturday. From Wellington the vessel goes to Lyttelton and thence to New Plymouth, where she is due early next week. WHANGAPE FROM NEWCASTLE. The Whangape was expected to leave Auckland on Monday for Newcastle, where she loads a consignment of rails for New Plymouth, besides cargo for Napier and Auckland. The Whangape comes direct to New Plymouth, and is due about October 8. PAPAROA AT NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Paparoa arrived at Newport News on Saturday en route for Home. ORARI FOR NEW ZEALAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Orari is 'to load at Montreal and New York for New Zealand and Australia. She Is expected to leave Montreal on November 10. SOMERSET AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Somerset, which sailed frocn Wellington on August 11, arrived at London on September 24. SHIPPING IN AUSTRALIA. ,A Press Association cable message from Melbourne states that despite the lack of cargo from Australia to the United States the Yamishlda Kisen Kaisha, of Japan, is inaugurating a cargo steamer service to Pacific coast ports and Australia, calling at New Zealand en route. A start will be made next month with the Yisimu Maru, and thereafter there will be monthly sailings. TAINUI FROM LONDON. The S.S. and A. liner Tainui left Balboa on September 24 in continuation of her voyage from London. She is due at Wellington on October 15. MATATUA LEFT LONDON. The S.S. and A. Company’s liner Matatua sailed from London on Saturday for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. She is due at Melbourne on November 1. FROM UNITED KINGDOM. The Opawa is duo to leave the United Kingdom for New Zealand on October 20. The Kaikoura is to leave the West Coast of England on November 5 for Auckland, Wellington, and Port Chalmers. WAHJXE TO BE RECOMMISSIONED. It is understood that the Wahine will probably resume her former running in the Lyttelton -Wellington service early next month (says the New Zealand Herald). She wilt take the Maori’s sailing dates, and the latter vessel will then withdraw and go to Port Chalmers to undergo survey and overtaul. The Wahine was withdrawn from the ferry service about three mionths ago, and was placed on the lay-up berth at Port Chalmers. It s probable that - the Maori, after her overhaul has been completed, will take up her running in the ferfcy service in conjunction with ike Wahine during the summer months, but no official information to that effect has yet been given.
