TO-NIGHT AND TO-MORROW NIGHT—“PAYING THE PIPER.” The third, and perhaps the greatest, George Fitzmaurice. picture, a Paramount super-produciton, “Paying the Piper”, by Ouida Bergere, will be the attraction at the King’s Theatre to-night. This picture possesses the same meritorious points that have placed Fitzmaurice productions of “On With the Dance”, etc., among the best pictures recently produced. The theme of the picture is based on the thought that in the mad scramble for wealth people are blind to the finer things of life, and that the world of possession does not bring enduring happiness or contentment. The principal characters are fully regenerated when, through the loss of their riches, they realise that real living is not measured by money. Miss Dorothy Dickson, is featured in the production, and supported by an all-star cast including Alma Tell, Rod La Roque, Robert Schable, George Fawcett and Reginald Denny. Seats may be booked at the theatre office or ’phone 268 M.
