6ALES AT INGLEWOOD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The horse fair held by Newton King, Ltei.. on Friday attracted a large attendance, toi whom there was submitted a considerabla number of torses of different classes, and al good sal© resulted. Hacks and light animals.' were not in muesli demand; the public evidently wanted substance. Farm and factory cart horses were competed for with considerable spirit. Prices realised ranged frfihj £5 5s for hacks, £l3 10s for light harness horses to £l7 for milk cart horses, and general farm horses from £25 to £4l, and ponies made from £4 10s to £lO.
The mart sale, Newton King, Ltd., on Saturday was well attended. A large number of pigs were submitted, the prices Showing no signs of decline. Calves (babies) sold: Bulls from 3s 6d to 6s, heifers up to 20s. Weaner pigs made from 21s to 30s for a choice lot of Berkshires, slips 27s to 425, stores 50s, sow due to farrow in a month £4; load of rata tirewood 16a, hens Is to 4s 6d.
