DAIRY INDUSTRY.
SOUTH CANTERBURY OPERATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Sept. 16. Mr. T. D. Burnett, M.P., made a tour pf the South Canterbury co-operative dairy factories to-day and learned that in the aggregate they distributed well over £'200.060 yearly to suppliers, and dairying was only beginning in this district. Helped by the slump in meat -and wool it is expected vastly to increase.
