EASTERNER ARRIVES. The S.S. and A. liner Easterner .arrived off the port at 7 o’clock on Saturday morning, and, weather permitting, she will berth this morning. The Easterner brings a cargo of benzine and kerosene from America, and unloading is expected to occupy about four days, after whici: the vessel sails for Melbourne and Sydney. THE RIMU. The P.imu is due to arrive to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail again for Onehunga at 6.30 p.m. CARGO FROM SOUTH. The Union Company advise that the Ramona’s trip from Lyttelton to New Plymouth has been cancelled, and the cargo intended for that vessel was to be lifted by the Corinna on Saturday. The Corinna is expected to leave Lyttelton to-day for New Plymouth via Nelson, and should arrive here on Thursday. KUROW.FROM NEWCASTLE'. The Kurow (U.S.S. Co.) left Newcastle on Wednesday for New Plymouth, via Wellington and Picton. At the southern port the Kurow will load cargo for New Plymouth, where she is expected about Friday. Her subsequent movements are not yet known. KAWATIRI IxAID UP. A cable from Sydney states that, owing to the slump in trade, the steamer Kawatiri is being laid up, and the crew are returning to Auckland by the Maheno, where they will be paid off. THE CANADIAN PIONEER. News has been received that the steamer Canadian Pioneer left Montreal on the Bth instant for Australasian ports. The vessel is due at Auckland about the end of November, and at Wellington about seven days THE kUMARA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the Kumara will now leave Auckland to-morrow for Wellington, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. The vessel will therefore arrive at Wellington on Thursday to complete discharge. 'SUSSEX AT MONTREAL. Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Sussex arrived at Montreal on the 13th Inst, from England to load for New Zealand ports. SOMERSET LEFT NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advice that the liner Somerset loft Newport News on the 10th inst. for Southampton and London, en route from Wellington. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
