The arrangements for the New Plymouth Jersey Breeders’ bull sale are now well in hand, and the catalogues have been completed. Everything points to the sale proving the most successful yet held. Vendors have combined in their efforts to bring this about in offering animals of only good quality and condition, and endeavoring to make it as much as possible a “without reserve” sale. At the conclusion of the big sale of bulls wi.L be sold a consignment of pedigree Jersey cows, heifers and bulls from the old-established stud of Mr. Charles soulter, Blenheim. Practically every breeder in Taranaki is aware of the excellent qualities attached to the “Hawkesbury” Jerseys, so the sale of this year’s consignment will no doubt be looked forward to with interest by many.
