Present indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale northward of Kawhia and East Cape, with strong and variable winds elsewhere, north-easterlies to south-easterlies ruling. Unsettled, cloudy and misty weather may be expected, with rain in northern and east, coast districts. The barometer has a falling tendency, particularly in the north.
