LESS WAGES RESENTED.
BIG STRIKE IN FRANCE. By Telegraph.—Presu Assn —Copyright. Received Sept. 15, 5.5 pjn. London, Sept. 15. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Telegraph reports that there are 100,000 strikers in the Lille, Roubaix, and Tourcoing districts, owing to a reduction of wages in the textile trade. The strikers have forbidden the newspapers to publish, and have decreed that all shops and cafes be closed.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
