CRICKET.
WAVERLEY CLUB. The annual meeting of the Waverley Cricket Club was held last Thursday, Mr. Metcalfe (president) occupying the chair, and there being 16 members present. The balance sheet showed receipts as £3l 14s !>d, expenditure £3O 19s 9d. The election of officers resulted as follows: President. Mr. Metcalfe; vicepresidents, W. H. Wybourne, E. P. Symes, J. L. Beer; secretary, Mr. P. Tritt; treasurer, Mr. H. Bradmore; club captain, Mr. H. Bradmore. It was proposed that two teams of equal strength be run, and that arrangements be made with Patea to play five Cooper Cup matches.
