In the morning rain delayed the working of the liner Dorset, but operations were commenced at 1 o’clock and continued during the afternoon. RIMU’S TRIP. The Rimu is due on the ordinary trip from Onehunga to-morrow. * WAIOTAPU FROM ’FRISCO. The Waiotapu (U.S.S. Co.) will load at Vancouver and San Francisco for New Plymouth early in October. KAMONA WITH CARGO. The Kamona (U.S.S. Co.) is expected to leave Lyttelton on Saturday for New Plymouth and Westport. She brings general cargo for New Plymouth, and is due oh Monday. KUROW FROM NEWCASTLE. The Kurow (U.S.S. Co.) was expected to leave Newcastle yesterday for Wellington arid New Plymouth, and before coming to New Plymouth she calls at Picton. She has 2000 tons of coal (for the Railway Department) and 700 rails to discharge here. CORINNA NEXT WEEK. The Corinna (U.S.S. Co.) left Dunedin at 4 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth via Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson, and is due here next Wednesday. She has 160 tons of cargo for New Plymouth from Dunedin.

The vessel will leave ; Wellington on Tuesday for Lyttelton, New | Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney. THE EASTERNER. The U.S. and A. Line steamer Easterner arrived at Wellington on Tuesday from New York via Auckland and Napier. The vessel will leave Wellington to-day for New Plymouth and Australian ports to complete discharge. OR ARI AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company have been advised by cable that the Orari arrived at London on the 10th inst. from Wellington via Melbourne and Dunkirk. The vessel left Wellington on July 8. SOMERSET AT NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company are in receipt of cable advice that the Somerset arrived at Newport News on the 10th inst. from Wellington via Panama. The vessel left. Wellington on August 11 for Southampton and London. PACIFIC SLOPE CARGO. Advice has been received that the West Mahv.ah, of the General Steamship Corporaton, has been fixed to load at Puget Sound ports, Columbia River, and San Francisco for Auckland. Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is expected to leave San Francisco about September 28. KUMARA AT AUCKLAND. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Kuraara arrived at Auckland on Tuesday from Liverpool via Panama. The vessel is due at Wellington next Wednesday to complete discharge. port Napier at hull. The C./aiid D. Line have been notified by cable that the Port. Napiei; arrived at Hull on the 9th inst. from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on July 24, proceeding Homeward via Panama. KAIKOURA AT LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advice that the Kaikoura arrived at London on the llth inst. from Wellington via Panama and Hull, to complete discharge. The vessel sailed from Wellington on July 17. PORT CURTIS AT LONDON. Uiible advice has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Curtis arrived at London on the llth inst from Wanganui. The vessel sailed from Wanganui on July 1 for London via Australia. RUAHTNE LEFT NEWPORT. The New Zealand Shipping Company are in receipt of cable advide that the Ruahine arrived at Newport News on the 10th inst. from Wellington, and sailed on the same date for Southampton and London.
