At the mixed wool sale an average selection was offered, and competition, especially from the Continent, was hardly equal to that of lass week, but prices were fully maintained. The "New Zealand” lot made up to 35%d, and averaged 33d. Bradford tops market shows a. good tone, with inquiry for spot lots, but ihere is little forward business. Quotations are hardening. LONDON METAL MARKETS. Received Sept. 13, 11 p.m. London, Sept. 12. Copper.—Spot, £67 6s 3d; forward, £6B 3s Bd. Lead.—£23 5s 8d and £23. Spelter.—£24 15s and £25 10s.
