Due here early. DORSET WITH ENGLISH CARGO. The Dorset (Federal Line) arrived from Dunedin yesterday morning, and was berthed shortly after 6 o’clock by the harbormaster (Captain Waller). She is of 8734 tons, and was drawing 17ft. for’d and 19ft. 7in. aft. The Dorset has 750 tons of English cargo to discharge, a large part of which is salt. The cargo to be loaded consists of 7000 bags of frozen meat, .300 casks of tallow, and 10,000 boxes of butter. The vessel Is expected to be ready to sail for Wellington about Thursday night or Friday morning. Later the Dorset, will load at Napi.er, Gisborne and Auckland. She is expected to leave Auckland for Liverpool and London on October 4. The vessel is in charge of Captain S. W. Somers-Vine, who has with him the following officers: Chief officer, Mr. G. G. Portch; second, Mr. J. A. Roney; third, Mr. C. S. Broughton; fourth, Mr. J. Reeves; fifth, Mr. E. A. Forster; chief engineer, Mr. L. W. Mackay; second, Mr. Bell; third, Mr. Jon6s; fourth, Mr. Parrant; fifth, Mr. Schultz; sixth, Mr. Longly; first refrigerating engineer, Mr. Turner; second, Mr. Watson; wireless operators, first, Mr. Cunningham; second, Mr. Olson; surgeon, Dr. F. L. Spencer. There are also four cadets with the vessel. THE ONEHUNGA SERVICE. Tbe Rimu arrived from Onehunga at eight o’clock yesterday morning, bringing passengers and 100 tons of cargo. She sailed on the return trip in the evening. After next Thursday’s trip the Northern Company will again replace the Rimu with the Rarawa, which is due from Onehunga on Monday, September 19. GENERAL CARGO FROM WELLINGTON. The s.s. Rama (Collett and Co., agents) is due to load In Wellington for New Plymouth on the 20th Inst., and should be here on the 22nd inst. with general cargo. THE! WAIKAWA. The Union Company advise that the Wafkawa is to leave Auckland to-day for ton, in continuation of her voyage Prom San Francisco. The vessel is due at Wellington on Friday night, and is to sail next Tuesday for Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney. She will load cargo at Wellington for Melbourne. EASTERNER AND EASTERN PLANET. The Easterner will leave Wellington on Fridajr for New Plymouth and Australia. It .'s expected that the Eastern Planet will take the October loading berth on the New Zealand coast for New York and Boston. She will probably go to Wellington first. WAITEMATA LEAVES CALCUTTA. The Union Company’s freighter Waitemata left Calcutta on September 9 for Singapore, Townsville and New Zealand ports. She is due at Auckland about October 16. WANAKA delayed. The Wanaka has been delayed, and will not arrive at. Wellington from Sydney, via Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton, until Saturday or Sunday next. She should sail for Sydney and Newcastle the following day. TAHITI LEAVES RAROTONGA. The R.M.S. Tahiti, en route from San Francisco to Wellington, left Rarotonga at 4 p.m. on Saturday last, and Is due at Wellington next Saturday. She will leave for Sydney on Monday. CITY OF SYDNEY LEAVES NEW YORK. The Federal Line advise that the City of Sydney left New York on August 31, and Newport News on September 4 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Adelaide, Melbourne. and Sydney.
