Attention is drawn to an advertisement in this issue giving particulars of a sale of second-hand clothes to be held in the Workers’ Social Hall, New Plymouth, at 1 p.m. on Saturday next. The J proceeds are in aid of' the Old Girls’ i fund for providing increased boarding | accommodation at the Girls’ High i School. A great variety of clothes, hats and shoes has been donated, and will be open for inspection on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. till noon, but nothing will be sold until 1 o’clock. It is expected thorp will he a brilliant display oT flowers at St. Andrew’s spring show, which commences in the Town Hall, Inglewood, to-morrow.
