WEDDING.

HALL—MURPHY. A quiet and pretty wedding was solemnised in the Church of England. Featherston, on August 31, the contracting parties being Elizabeth Mary, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Murphy, of Featherston, to Percy C. Hall, of Thames, only son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Hall, of New Plymouth. The bride, who was given away by her

father, was attired in a beautiful cream crepe de chine dress, with customary veil and orange blossom. She was attended by Miss G. Hall, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Gracie Murphy, sister of the bride. They wore becoming dresses of crepe de chine and'pink silk respectively. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. H. E. Riddick, of Rowan. The Rev. J. G. S. Bartlett

officiated. The wedding march was played by Mrs. IL Long. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, and the usual toasts duly honored. Amid showers of confetti, and sped by many good wishes, the happy couple left for Wellington, en route for Auckland.
