Mr. Massey, speaking at the Canadian Club at Vancouver, advocated that the next Imperial Conference should bt held at Vancouver, because of the vast distance he was compelled to travel. He defended the Japanese Treaty and declared that the best assurance of Pacific peace was the retention of thia alliance, because if the British Empire discarded Japan, other world Powers would be ready to accept her as ar ally.—Reuter.
