A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received September 9, 7.30 p.m. Adelaide, Sept. 9. The Anglican Synod discussed a motion in favor of prohibition. The clerical section adopted the motion, but the lay section negatived it by small majorities. As a majority in both sections is required the motion was lost.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
