At the twelfth Mrs. Johns played the straighter ball. Both made good approach shots, whilst Miss Brewster holed for a three, Mrs. Johns failing with a five-foot putt. From the tee Mrs. Johns was weak • at the thirteenth, but made a good re- ! covery with a fine iron for her third. From | just below the green she was above the flag ■ for her fourth. Miss Brewster lay dead ; for her fourth. Mrs. Johns missed a diffi- i cult down-hill putt to save the hole. Mrs. ; Johns’ tee shot at the fourteenth was weak, ! Miss Brewster getting well away. A straight tip! If you fed a thickening of the throat with hoarseness coming on, take a few drops of “Nazol” on loaf sugar every hour. Allow' the sugar to dissolve very slowly in the- mouth by placing it between thtf cheek a-nd gum. This is r. tip worth knowing. ' 3
