GERMAN REACTIONISTS.
DENOUNCED BY HERR WIRTH. DETERMINED SUPPORT OF REPUBLIC. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—copyright. Received September 6, 9.45 p.m. Berlin, Sept. 5. Herr Wirth, addressing a meeting of the Centre Party, stressed the urgency of defending the Republic against reactionary attacks. He denounced the big capitalists, whom he accused of greed and lack of patriotism in delaying delivery of the Foreign Bill, in the hope of the dollar rising, thus making the payment of gold to the Entente most difficult. He was resolved to pursue hs policy unflinchingly, and use every means against reaction.—Reuter Service.
