HUNGARIAN PLOTS.
TO RESTORE EX-KING. CAMPAIGN OF TERRORISM. DRAMATIC ENTRY URGED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Budapest, Sept. 5. There are grave reports of shootings and plunderings in the western provinces by well-equipped Hungarian irregular bands, which arc armed with machineguns.' The Royalist flag has been raised, at Szombathely, which is the centre of the plot to restore ex-j\.mg Karl to the throne. The plotters have instituted a campaign of terrorism in the western provinces. The Austrian police were powerless, and retreated after the Hungarians had seized a number of Austrian officers. It is reported that Karl is being urged to make a dramatic entry into the scene of the disorders. —Aus.-N.Z. Assn.
