N.P. ATHLETIC CLUB.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. At a meeting of the executive commit tee of the New Plymouth Amateur Athletic Club last night a set of rules, ar
submitted by the East Harbor Amateur Sports Club (Wellington), were adopted, with a few unimportant amendments. It was decided to exclude boxing from the sports embraced by the club.
The membership fee for all out juniors wad fixed at os. the junior fee being 2/G. Tn<- secretary reported that a request had been received from the llawera Chib for an iriter-ehih challenge race to bo inchidtyl in the programme. ft was pointed out that provision had already been made in the approved programme for such an event. A donation of £1 Is from Mr. E. Davis was received with thanks.
It was derided that the committee should meet on every Monday night at S o’clock.
