THE DEMANDS OF LABOR. WARNING TO FARMERS. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Wanganui Freezing Company to-day the increased cost of carrying on business, largely owing to labor demands, was emphasised. Mr. W. J. Polson, Dominion president of the Farmers’ Union, interviewed on this matter to-night, warned sheep farmers against secret negotiations at present in progress in Wellington. He urged farmers to see that their point of view was presented when the case jpame before the Arbitration Court, for if the demands were granted the pastoral industry was ruined.
