CORRESPONDENCE.

ELECTRIC POWER. (To the Editor) Sir, —Replying again to Mr. W. H. Were, he is hard to understand. He started out by making unfounded statements, and then half apologised by saying he did not mean what he said. He now reverts to these statements by inuendo. He objects to my use of the word impertinence and then refers to a disordered liver. Without justification he asked for an assurance concerning the intentions of the Borough Council. The assurance I gave was as full and definite as can possibly be given, and he will not accept it.—l am, etc.,

.1. w. McMillan. Stratford, 31st August, 1921.
