ROSY CREEK JERSEYS.
HIGH PRICES REALISED. DETAILS OF THE SALE. The annual sale of pedigree Jersey heifers, on account of Messrs. A. and J. O'Donnell' was held in the Egmont A. and P. Show< Grounds, Hawera, yesterday. It was an un-; qualified success, the various lots offeredE realising high prices. There was a good at->: tendance of Jersey fanciers. Among the lots sold were some fine types of Jemey heifers# and these realised a high average. A 20-month-old heifer, Caresse of fiosy Creek (Belvedere Sun Prince—Caresse), sister to Goneril, this season’s leading two-year-old, is, although small, a typical Jersey heifer, and wus much admired, and she was knocked down at 170 guineas, topping the market. In all 25 heifers were sold, the line averaging £lOO 14s—a phenomenally high figure considering the state of the finance market. The sale was conducted by H. P.
