MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE.
MOTOR DRIVER ACQUITTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Reed, Norman McFarlane Fulton was charged with manslaughter, as the resuit of the death of Eugene Doherty, through being run down by a motor-car driven by Fulton. Accused was acquitted after the jury had retired for two hours.
