The Moscow correspondent of the Times reports that the rapid denationalisation of commerce and industry is proceeding, and fresh categories of commercial articles are continuously being thrown open to restricted trading. Recent orders denationalised over 70 per cent, of the industrial enterprises which have been Socialised since the revolution.
Orthodox Communists are upset to see the principles which, during the past two years, have been preached as the sole means of the world’s salvation, being ecrapped, but there ie no doubt that the Russian economic situation was going from bad to worse.—Times.
