REV. HOWARD ELLIOTT.
A PRESENTATION AND EULOGISM. By Telegraph —Press Association. Napier, Last Night. Ata public meeting to-night the Rev. Howard Elliott was made the recipient of a wallet of bank notes in appreciation of his good work on behalf of the P.P.A., in the interests of the Dominion. An address accompanying the presentation indicated that it was from professional and business men, and men and women of every walk
of life, members and non-members of the P.P.A., eulogising the work of the Rev. Elliott. The address claims that he and the association were influencing the Labor world by exposing the subtle influences at work in creating industrial unrest. The sane and legitimate policy by which to improve and control the best interests of the workers had been pointed out by influential and responsible men of the Labor movement, which undoubtedly would have a far-reaching influence. The Rev. Elliott, whose health lately has not been of the best, after a visit to Auckland proposes to visit Australia in order to recuperate.
