Smyrna reports that a Greek military communique of the 23rd states: —After long marches on both banks of the river Sakaria and through great i-alt deserts, we are in contact with the main enemy forces south of the river Gheonkson, which is a tributary of the Sakaria. A TOWN TN FLAMES. Athens, August 27. A fire has been raging in Eskishe'hr for several days, and the greater part of the town ha«s been destroyed.
